RIP Dickey Betts. His solo on “One Way Out” from At Fillmore East was probably my favorite guitar solo of all time.

Kristian Campbell has missed two games now after being pinch run for after a base hit in the 4th inning of Wednesday's game. On the stream it looked like a normal play and he didn't appear to be in significant pain.

Just curious if we or the league ever looks at Kavadas and asks can this guy realistically hit .230 in the MLB with a 16%+ walk rate and 30 plus homeruns?
He continues to look like he will be someone’s Adam Dunn one day

Since when does Rodriguez-Cruz throw 98 MPH? I read about a velocity spike back during ST but 98 is a couple notches beyond that I had seen then.

He continues to look like he will be someone’s Adam Dunn one day You should look up Dunn’s minor league stats and the ages he played. It’s a lot easier to be comped to Adam Dunn than to be Adam Dunn.

He's gonna have to to one of the best hitters in AAA all year for anyone to be interested in giving him a regular spot in the majors

Oh for sure but at a certain point the power and insane walk rates play or give the urge to see if it can play

Walkoff hit for Marcelo, third hit of the game (Yes, I know, minor league wins and losses mean nothing)….Portland has won 7 of their last 8.

Olivares first inning: walk, K, walk, K, balk, walk, K
EDIT: his first inning on April 13th: walk, walk, HBP, balk, walk, K, K, lineout
He just hates balls in play!

..... and the strange saga of Blaze Jordan continues.
He's off to an abysmal start in Portland, but he still has only 4 K's in 39 plate appearances. A power hitter who doesn't strike out, but doesn't really hit for his expected power, either. Is he using a tennis racket instead of a bat?
