Not even close, even if you want to blame the team for not magically anticipating his future injuries. I still think it will be hard to sincerely count on him ever starting and staying healthy again. Hopefully Mayer has a monster year. Why?

Things can turn fast - Story injury and Kutter losing the plate. Wow.

Story gets to that single. Mediocre to bad defense extends innings. Starting pitching isn't good enough to last through those balls you didn't get for outs. Your starters don't make it past the fourth inning. Welcome to the 2023 Red Sox all over again. Yikes.

Award quality reporting from the NESN field guy. "He left with left shoulder pain". Nah. That can't be right...

Soooo…. There’s def no way Grissom and Valdez can coexist in the MIF… right? *ducks* What I would *like* explored is Grissom getting time in left to allow Rafaela to play short while still maintaining a 4 outfielder rotation that doesn’t include Yoshida (in the field), doubt that happens though. I think more likely than not in that scenario Yoshida winds up in LF pushing Duran to CF with Grissom at 2b and Valdez DHing, just because Yoshida has more experience in the OF. More likely it's a reprieve for Abreu as it pushes Rafaela to SS against righties, with Rafaela in CF against lefties and Reyes at SS and Romy Gonzalez getting a roster spot.

Love seeing the walk for Cedanne. BAAAD first swing on low pitch and then got a piece of strikes and avoided bad balls. Then a steal! Like it.

How many years in a row can they let his health burn them? Injuries have a huge luck component. I don't think it makes sense to assume a guy is permanently fragile because of a couple acute injuries. There are very few guys I would actually consider "injury prone".
