Both these teams deserve to lose. Several people said stuff like this. I think it was the opposite. Both teams played their guts out. The priority was to not let up a goal, and you see how well they each did at that. Neither team choked. They both played well. Bruins just had one more play in them. Still amazed by that one. Guarantee you at 1-0. 99% of the people following the game thought it was over. For the B's to come back that hard and tie it, from a team that talk radio were calling losers and chokers, was simply astounding. And still geeking out at the final play. Lindholm, reading that, getting to the red line first just in case, and then making that bank pass was a thing of beauty. And Pasta, having the brains to take the long way around Marner so no one saw him coming, and then the athleticism and determination to out skate everyone, followed by a perfect shot, chef's kiss, my man. I hate how people just assume the teams are bad when it’s a low scoring game. I feel much more confident with that win going into the next round than I would if we had won 6-5 in OT.

Thought that was Lohrei’s coming out party, he may have been their best defenseman outside of Hampus. That dude will be an NHL regular from here on out

Predictions for the next series? Loving having the Bs and Cs moving deeper into the playoffs - and on alternating nights!

Thank you. Those teams were balling out (what's the hockey term? "Pucking out" doesn't sound right)

I was wrong about Lohrei
He’s not turning into a regular, he’s emerging as a star

Loving this even more. Carlo, Brazeau, Geekie and Lohrei - who could have guessed those scorers?

God, swayman is a beast. Nothing is more fun than when your favorite player is the best player on the team. As you can tell by my username that never happened much with the Sox.

Wow, wow, wow. You go top shelf on Florida. The Bruins are playing with house money. Nobody is expecting anything from them. Except for us. Swayman I always loved this kid. A couple of guys look tired or slow. Still that was awesome.

A couple of guys look tired or slow. Still that was awesome. I think before this series it was an even match, still think that after the game. I would be shocked if it does not go at least 6 and fully expect a seven game series. I expect the NYR and Carolina winner to represent the East for the Stanley Cup, UNLESS Swayman pulls a Tim Thomas 2011 run, which I would not be shocked by at this point, after all before the year began on the first page or so of this thread I was saying the best way to improve the team was to trade Ullmark because of the confidence I had in Swayman and the depth of our goal tending down in Providence too along with budget constraints.

Holley had Fluto on his show. I didn’t know Lohrei was a forward until about 16. He changed positions. 23 years old love his puck handling.
This is just wondering if Fabian Lysell got a chance later in the season in Boston . I think the coaching has been very tough on him. At least one is going nowhere . I’m pretty sure Griz days are numbered .
Playoff hockey is so good

and again. can't clear his man. at least he was there this time. McAvoy doing his best Forbort impression. Sweet. Reminder to self: this is not their year, no matter how great Swayman was doing before this game. Be happy with one series win and look forward to the future.

This is all gravy to me folks
Ugly 2nd and 3rd (so far) though. Montgomery really let them hear it, don’t see that often

Not really seeing that narrative at all tbh, everybody said they were only good because of Bergeron and Krejci and they went even further this year, if anything I think that goes in Sweeney’s favor LOVE how they closed out that game though. Cowardly Panthers waited to pull their shit until after Maroon got a bogus misconduct but the boys were ready to scrap. Friday is gonna be nuts at the garden

Yep- it was only one loss - not surprised to see FL take it at home.

Half glass full. Florida is the favored team. The Bruins took one in their home and have home ice for now.
I think getting walloped probably helps ease Florida's tension that they seemed to have in game 1. I also didn't like seeing Ulmark completely squander an opportunity either. The Swayman wasn't good, but he has been this playoffs and I'd go back to him if he's healthy. There was an opportunity to really turn on pressure for Florida, but I'll take 1-1. I just don't like how they arrived to 1-1.

I honestly loved seeing them say “**** the score” and start playing the physical game. Frederic dragging his line into the fire by telling them “we’re going” and then throwing punches in a scrum
This is a war not a battle. I think they did a good job showing they’re not going to tolerate Florida’s BS like they did last year. Wouldn’t shock me to see a line brawl in game 3
